At Perisher & loved being Labjacd. Excellent diversity from many angles. Bought a CD & listening to it now. Yes, there is a bit of ska & reggae in there, believe it or not, from an old red nose (from skiing) bloke & his wife. We got a real good kick out of it.
Cristian and Alfie, enjoyed being your pseudo-buddies for the Adelaide newspaper @ Peace. Had to laugh, have just returned from a long stint in London so hadn't heard of you guys, absolutely love your sound - I agree with Carl Cox(...not a bad recommendation...)

I flew to Valencia last weekend and read the same review. Mr Cox mentioned that he downloaded the tracks off your website but I cant find where I can do that - somebody help!!
I've been in London for just under 2 years now and on my way to Barcelona, I was reading an interview of a popular DJ in the UK who is touring in Ibiza and all over the world. This DJ, Carl Cox was asked ‘what was the last CD you downloaded?’ He replied, with ‘LABJACD, a Melbourne group with a Latin and hip hop influence.’ I thought who could this group be, I'm from Melbourne and I know most of the Latin Community? So I checked out the website, just like Carl Cox’s article suggested. I couldn't believe it. Alveiro and Christian. Say hi to your sister for me, Alveiro? Any way thought you guys would like to know that we heard about the group from the other side of the world. Keep up with the good work. I’m getting all my English friends to check out your website and music.
Allende has nothing to do with "fucking some girl on a beach". (Can't recall any of us saying he did). I chose to put a stencil of him in the last EP because he was a very great man who should not be forgotten. If it were nt for the events of 1973 (and the role of the CIA in precipitating them), there would be no Chilean community in this country. For me Allende also represents an idealism that is sadly lacking from contemporary politics. I think these are reasons enough for including that stencil (and maybe making a few people a little curious as to who he was..). I certainly did nt include it flippantly or without thought...

I agree with Harry that Cat Empire were pretty good, but when I could be there only a metre from you all & actually talk to you before and after the show, it's that kinda thing that really tops it all off.
